Natvar will exhibit its microextrusion, silicone medical tubing during Medica.
Natvar are a Tekni-Plex business unit.
Microextrusion tubing has been developed in recent years to service a wide variety of demanding neurovascular interventional therapies and surgical applications, and Natvar’s new microextrusion medical tubing which is made from cost-effective thermoplastics and other highly-engineered materials offers an alternative to more expensive materials.
The company microextrude monolayer, coextruded, multi-lumen tubing or profiles in a variety of thermoplastic materials and wall thicknesses ranging from .003 to .005 inches. Additionally, the tubing can be coextruded in up to four layers.
Natvar is also a global supplier for its high-precision medical silicone extrusion tubing which is typically used for catheters, feeding tubes, drug delivery and peristaltic pump applications.
Recently, Natvar invested in an expanded silicone extrusion capacity which helps provide a solution for complex medical applications and supports the growing need for biological compatibility for implantable medical devices.
Natvar will be in hall 6 and on stand H30 during Medica in Dusseldorf from 18th November to 21st November.
