Inspection and verification company SGS has announced the acquisition of Virginia-based Polymer Solutions Incorporated (PSI).
Acquisition
An independent materials testing laboratory specialising in polymer science, PSI serves numerous industries including medical devices, manufacturing and polymeric materials.
Founded in 1987 PSI employs around 40 people and generated 2017 revenues of over $4 million.
Commenting on the acquisition, Frankie Ng, CEO of SGS, said: “This acquisition strategically enhances our global platform of materials science and testing laboratories within our Industrial offer, and will support the further expansion of added value services to our customers and core industries.”
