Phillips-Medisize’s vice president of global quality, Winston Brown, will present at this year’s Drug Delivery Partnerships
The ‘Combination product development: a harmonised roadmap for efficiency, compliance and speed to market’ presentation, will discuss the convergence of pharmaceutical and medical device development into combination product therapy and considerations for an integrated approach versus the traditional development pathways.
Brown’s presentation will also highlight regulatory pathways, lessons learned from current industry examples, ways to approach integrated product development and the value of choosing a trusted outsource partner.
Brown said: "It is an honour to be presenting at this year’s Drug Delivery Partnerships. As the trend of combination products continues to emerge, it is still unique to many regulatory authorities abroad and lines of product classification and jurisdiction are often blurred.
“There are lessons to be learned from the traditional regulatory pathway, which can be applied to the new combination product paradigm."
Brown, as well as Bill Welch, chief technology officer and other Phillips-Medisize representatives will be in attendance and available during the conference for individual meetings to further discuss specific programs or Phillips-Medisize capabilities.
This year’s Drug Delivery Partnerships will be held at the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on January 20-22, 2016.
