Philips is showcasing its latest range of imaging solutions at the UK Radiology Congress (UKRC) in Liverpool this week (29 June - 1 July).
Philips VISIQ ultrasound system
The imaging solutions displayed by Philips are designed to intuitively capture and share advanced diagnostic information with greater efficiency, in order to support rapid clinical decision making by radiology teams.
Veradius Unity is one of the products being displayed at UKRC by Philips. Veradius Unity is a system that offers live image guidance controlled through a tablet-style interface. This intuitive interface provides a touch-screen C-arm control mechanism for operators so they can respond to physician requests instantly, making adjustments as required for the best image capture.
Other technologies being displayed at UKRC range from the Philips’ IntelliSpace Portal 7.0, which seamlessly shares cross departmental information, to Philips' VISIQ Ultrasound system, to the Philips Dosewise Portal which is a comprehensive radiation does management software solution.
The solutions on display by Philips at UKRC are designed to offer a series of significant benefits to clinicians and patients by simplifying the process of clinical collaboration.
Ian Graves, Philips Healthcare Business Manager Imaging Systems, UK, said: “At Philips, our aim is to ensure that each radiologist not only has access to the highest quality images for accurate diagnosis, but that the information is captured and shared intelligently across clinical specialities to support decision making within multidisciplinary teams. By looking at product and system design holistically, our innovations are able to provide clinicians with increasingly sophisticated data, making it easier for them to quickly establish the best patient treatment pathway.”
