The MEDTEC Europe trade fair this year will see more than 96 experts meet and debate topics for the first time ever over all three days of the fair.
Held on 3-5 June the conference is being divided into three subject areas – ‘design, prototype, human factors engineering and usability,’ 'risk, quality and validation' and finally 'EU and global regulations'.
The trade fair will house more than 70 lectures and workshops and will focus on the latest developments and user knowledge.
Visitors can also look forward to topics such as the integration of 3D printing in design and prototyping, quality management in the supply chain and new European regulations.
Fair organizer Fabienne Valambras said: “The MEDTEC conference provides an insight into the opportunities and challenges, the new processes and materials and legislative changes to the conference programme.”
“The conference programme complements MEDTEC Europe perfectly, at which leading international exhibitors present their solutions for changes on this market,” she added.
Experts such as Ravi Nabar, head of supplier quality at Philips Healthcare, Mark Hassenplug, ceo of Maetrics, and Dr. Marc-Stephan Weiser, head of global business development medical at Bayer MaterialScience AG will also be talking about the opportunities and challenges they face on the international market for medical products.
The conference will take place alongside MEDTEC Europe at which international suppliers working for medical products manufacturers will be presenting their innovations and services.
