Nordson Corporation has agreed a deal to acquire Clada Medical Devices with the terms of the deal not disclosed.
As a result, Ireland-based Clada will become part of the Nordson medical product line within its advanced technology systems segment, with Nordson aiming to grow within the minimally invasive medical device market.
With Clada’s design and development track record primarily focussed on balloons and balloon catheters, Nordson is expecting to provide:
- Expanded balloon and balloon catheter capabilities
- Combined expertise of well-established teams
- Broader design, development & manufacturing capabilities
- Further expansion in Ireland serving global customers
