The five part webinar series which will focus on biomaterial solutions for implantable medical devices, will take place every Tuesday throughout June.
The series will aim to provide technical content tailored to medical device professionals who are seeking biomaterial solutions to enhance the safety, biocompatibility and performance of their implantable medical devices. Topics covered include; orthopaedics, wound healing, cardiovascular, biomaterials for 3D printing, surface modification, and medical textiles.
The webinars will include eight industry experts from both Evonik, and the company’s industry partners. These experts will be on hand to answer any questions.
Each webinar will take place at 10 am EDT / 4 pm CEST. The dates and topics of all the webinars can be viewed below:
- June 2nd: Bioresorbable polymers for 3D printing medical device applications
- June 9th: Surface modification technologies to reduce thrombosis and prevent biofouling
- June 16th: Use of extrusion for processing of bioresorbable medical devices
- June 23rd: Bioresorbable polymers for medical textile applications
- June 30th: Bioresorbable polymers for orthopaedic applications
