Integrated Technologies (ITL) has secured two manufacturing contracts worth a total of £3m over the next two years

The first of the two contracts, worth around £1m, is a renewal of a long-standing manufacturing deal between ITL and Scotland-based DySIS Medical for their video colposcope.
The DySIS Colposcope is a medical device that removes subjectivity from the diagnosis of cervical cancer and other cervical abnormalities by automating the visualisation of the aceto-whitening effect.
Aceto-whitening is a process whereby acetic acid is applied to the cervix and turns white where abnormalities in the cells are present.
ITL developed the first commercially available DySIS Video Colposcope in 2010 and remains the sole manufacturer.
The second contract, amounting to £2m, is for the Trek Diagnostics (now owned by ThermoFisher Scientific) Sensititre ARIS 2X.
The ARIS 2X is a benchtop incubating and reading system used in Veterinary and Microbiology laboratories as part of a range of instruments for Antimicrobial resistance.
Similarly to DySIS, ITL has had a long standing relationship with TREK diagnostics and has worked on various product design projects for the entire Sensititre range as well as being their chosen manufacturer for many years.
