Amcor Flexibles showcases infection risk at Medtec Europe 2016

Medical facilities are increasingly concerned with minimising the infection risk due to bacteria, parasites and viruses. To ensure maximum patient safety, packaging needs to provide a secure sterile barrier system.

“We have exhibited at Medtec Europe for a number of years and are always excited to be at this event,” says Chris Gabriel, Amcor Flexibles Medical Europe marketing director.  “It’s a great opportunity for us to showcase our new products and services to a vast audience. Our special catheters display this year is an opportunity for us to share new technologies in forming film, high performance laminates and pouching, which are important for medical device manufactures working in this area.”  

During the show the Amcor team has been sharing its wealth of knowledge and experience in medical device packaging including forming films, high performance laminates, medical papers & Tyvek, sterilisation pouches and bags, die cut lidding and vented rollstock.

Amcor has also been featuring a new display for the next generation of developments for the packing of catheters, guidewires and stents.
