Smart Peak Flow can turn a smartphone into a device for asthmatics.

A big challenge with asthma control is how to stick with it day in, day out. The Smart Peak Flow device makes this easy. Small enough to sit in the palm of your hand – it plugs into a smartphone’s headphone jack and works together with its corresponding app to measure the user’s peak expiratory flow rate. It automatically records and charts the readings, reminding you to take medication and peak flow measurements, and can share results directly with doctors and carers. It also provides a gamified service, which allows users to qualify for a 90 a day lung-track challenge.
