The new associate subscriber level allows smaller OEMS (under $250 million in annual revenue) benefit from access to audit details of the program at a substantially reduced subscription rate. Contract manufacturers to the medical device industry now have an opportunity to better control their supply chain through access to the MedAccred program as contract manufacturer subscriber.

With these new subscriber options, now a much larger segment of the medical device industry can participate in the MedAccred and realise the following benefits:

Bob Lizewski, MedAccred program vice president, said “The Performance Review Institute is pleased to expand the MedAccred program and provide access to thousands more industry stakeholders to reduce risk in their supply chains and improve the quality of their products. Smaller OEMs will find substantial value in the associate subscriber option by having audit detail access to accredited suppliers enabling them to improve critical process oversight and supplier decision-making.”
