Phillips-Medisize Recognised for Environmental Performance
Phillips-Medisize has announced that its Design Development Center, located in Hudson, Wisconsin, USA, has been recognised by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for its environmental excellence, making that facility part of their Green Tier Program. Phillips-Medisize has been a long-standing participant of the Green Tier program since 2008, and now, all of its facilities located in Wisconsin hold this distinction. Under the Green Tier program – one of Wisconsin’s flagship environmental performance programs – companies work hand-in hand with the DNR and voluntarily commit to environmental performance standards that go beyond regulatory compliance.
Through the Green Tier Program, Phillips-Medisize will continue to work with the DNR in upholding the highest standards of sustainability while continuing to achieve specific waste and energy reduction goals, as well as, recycling and technological innovations for environmental protection. “Phillips-Medisize is a shining example of corporate responsibility in the area of sustainability and we are proud to welcome their Hudson facility into the Green Tier Program,” said DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp.
