Phillips-Medisize at 50

Phillips-Medisize, one of the med-tech sector’s major players turns 50 this week.

The company was launched as a precision moulder in Phillips, Wisconsin in 1964 and has grown steadily to become a global name in outsourced design and development and manufacturing services to the medical device, drug delivery and diagnostic products markets, as well as some commercial markets.

Matt Jennings, Chairman and CEO of Phillips-Medisize said on the group’s official anniversary: “Today is a special day for our company. Fifty years ago, Phillips-Medisize hit the start button on its first injection moulding press.
