Pharmapack Europe Award Winners 2016

The 2016 Pharmapack Awards have highlighted an injection sensor, automated drug-preparation solution, autodisable syringe and mineral microspheres

In total, four innovations were awarded in the Exhibitor Innovation category, with a further three visitor products honoured in the Healthcare Product category.

The four Exhibitor Innovation award winners were:

Biocorp who won the best customisation and user-friendliness award with Easylog, a sensor that converts all injection devices into internet-connected and communicating devices.

Eveon who won the best convenience and easy use award with IntuityLyo, an automated drug preparation solution which simplifies the number of components and steps for the users and is particularly suitable for chronic therapies requiring regular dosing.

Injecto who won the best efficient re-use and drug tampering prevention award with Injecto 0.5ml, which eliminates reuse and drug tampering when administering the injections.

Pylote who won the best patient protection and cost-efficiency award with Pyclear Protection, which uses a green chemistry that solves the problem of the risk of contamination without use of preservatives in pharmaceutical products.

The three Healthcare Product award winners were:
