Messe Stuttgart confirms new medtech show, T4M
Following news that UBM is combining its Medtec Europe event with MT-Connect, and re-locating to Nuremberg in 2019, previous host Messe Stuttgart has announced the launch of T4M.
The new trade show will take place from 7 to 9 May 2019 at Messe Stuttgart.
Messe Stuttgart says it "immediately took up talks with companies in the industry" after UBM made its announcement.
"To generate the greatest benefits, we are working very closely with the medical engineering industry in Germany and abroad right from the start," said Ulrich Kromer, president of Messe Stuttgart.
The company says it is setting up an expert advisory board which includes representatives of trade associations, trade media and interested exhibitors and visitors. The board will design the concept of the new platform together with the team from Messe Stuttgart.
The event will be aimed at development and production managers, engineers, packaging specialists and scientists, and will take place on an exhibition area of about 20,000 m2.
"Our partners, exhibitors and visitors will also be able to rely on our high standard of support, strong communication and a clear distribution of responsibilities at T4M," said Kromer.
The Stuttgart region is home to many medical engineering companies and research associations as well as many academic institutions.
"In no other region in Germany is the emphasis on technology and progress so noticeable as in the home of inventors and thinkers," explained Kromer.
