Medtech firm creates scientific advisory board to aid development of medical 3D printing software

Axial3D has formed an advisory board to provide strategic guidance and solution strategy. 

Axial3D, creator of the axial3D insight platform and supplier of specialised 3D printing software and services globally, has formed an advisory board to provide strategic guidance and solution strategy. The members include Pepper Denman, Anish Ghodadra, Alistair Hann and Simon Fleming.

"The search for a specialised advisory board to impact the current strategic aims of Axial3D has been a fantastic experience, and we have been fortunate to attract such an experienced and diverse group to support our growth in the coming years. " said Daniel Crawford, founder and CEO of Axial3D.

"As we expand the scope of Axial3D’s 3D printing software and service portfolio, we have established an advisory team with extensive experience in the medical device industry, radiology, surgery and IT development. This expertise coupled with the existing support from the board of directors in finance, sales, machine learning and artificial intelligence and new infrastructure technologies, ensures the company is positioned to embark on the next phase of growth.

Dr William (Pepper) Denman: Massachusetts General Hospital, USA (chairman of the advisory board); Dr Anish Ghodadra: Interventional Radiology Yale New Haven Hospital, USA; Dr Alistair Hann, chief technology officer, TravelNest; Mr Simon Fleming, orthopaedics, PhD candidate in Medical Education at Barts and The London.
