Raumedic's silicone specialties at Medtec Europe

Raumedic will be silicone injection moulding at Medtec Europe in Stuttgart this month.

The group will be moulding pump segments using silicone. High dosage accuracy is a key criteria in medical engineering. The tubing and moulded parts used need to withstand the tightest tolerances. This is true for devices which are used in hospitals as well as in homecare. Fields of application include enteral nutrition and pain management.

Connectors, fixing elements as well as pressure sensors and bubble detection areas can be integrated without any additional parts or further processing steps. A combination of silicone and thermoplastic parts in one system is also possible.
