Airora device destroys airborne viruses and bacteria

Tri-Air Developments’ Airora device continually clears indoor air of viruses and bacteria

The device, solves a host of challenges such as hospital-acquired infections, workplace health risks and cross-infection in public areas according to Tri-Air.

Airora emits hydroxyl radicals which are decontaminants that break down and destroy airborne viruses and bacteria.

Tri-Air have said that the Airora’s ability to keep an entire room suffused with hydroxyl radicals means that its power is continuous and germs are eliminated in seconds – even when their source is ongoing and distant from the device.

This overcomes the limitations of other market products, which effectively work as filter devices, needing to draw air through them in order to kill germs inside according to Tri-Air.

The Airora prototype has been fully developed, tested and trialled and is ready to start being turned into product.
