Evonik is to increase the prices of its pharmaceutical excipients and medical device polymers

Evonik Nutrition & Care will implement price increases for its pharmaceutical excipients and medical device polymers sold under the Eudragit and Resomer brands.

Eudragit develops coatings and matrix systems that provide release of active pharmaceutical ingredients from oral dosage forms.

Resomer polymers are used for depot formulations, bioresorbable implants and in medical devices.

The company has said that this price adjustment is necessary to maintain a high level of service and quality for its customers.
