Equipment provider features series of leak testing products at MD&M West

Precision equipment provider Marposs features its Tecna family of leak testing solutions at MD&M West 2019.

The range of solutions are designed to verify the integrity of medical products ranging from disposable kits to equipment for dialysis or for assisted breathing, and the solutions are able to perform leak and flow tests.

At MD&M West in booth #1247, Marposs is featuring its Tecna family of leak testing solutions designed to verify the integrity of medical products ranging from disposable kits to equipment for dialysis or for assisted breathing. The Tecna solutions are able to perform leak and flow tests, as well as volume and resistance (burst tests) for sealed products at interception as well as under vacuum.

Some typical applications include: aerosol boxes/components, blisters, blood collecting bags, blood lines, bottles, cardio circuits, catheters, dialysis circuits, filters, hydraulic connectors, infusion bags, inhaler, nebulizers, needles, pharmaceutical bottles, pipettes, pneumatic connectors, spray cans, syringes, urine collecting bags, valves.

The Tecna products employ techniques to detect flow and leakage including absolute pressure decay, differential pressure decay, direct measure of leak flow or in-chamber pressure variation. Products can be tested using air or nitrogen, according to various testing methods, as appropriate.

MD&M West takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center, California until 7 February.
