Colorite launch new thermoplastic elastomer compound line at MD&M West

Custom compounder of medical-grade formulations, Colorite, has launched a new line of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compounds for medical device applications at MD&M West.

Colorite’s Cellene TPE compounds are suitable for a wide variety of uses in medical devices, packaging and other regulated markets. The compounds are formulated to be silicone, latex, phthalate, halogen and PVC-free using FDA-compliant raw materials to meet USP Class VI and ISO 10993 standards.

Colorite claim the TPE compound line is ideal for North American medical device manufacturers looking for alternatives to PVC, phthalate-plasticised compounds and various rubber materials.
