Arburg subsidiary celebrates ten years

The Arburg subsidiary in Shanghai has celebrated its tenth anniversary. More than 500 guests were invited to a special evening – 1933 House Shanghai -  by subsidiary manager Zhao Tong which saw the presentation of an anniversary sculpture by Arburg managing partner Juliane Hehl, awards to special customers and the Arburg employee of the year.

Hehl thanked the entire subsidiary team for its successful work over the past decade and presented Zhao Tong with an anniversary sculpture as a sign of recognition. In his welcoming speech, Helmut Heinson, managing director responsible for international sales, emphasised the importance of the subsidiary in Shanghai and also thanked the company’s customers.

Zhao Tong said:  “Over the course of the past decade, close contacts and strong partnerships have been established with our customers. Without them and their support, we would not be what we are today.”

Arburg also gave customer awards Derjin, Hongfa, Kostal and for excellence in partnership, to Pigeon.

In addition to the subsidiary in Shanghai, Arburg operates two further fully-owned organisations in China: one in Hong Kong since 1991 and another in Shenzhen since 2006. Another important milestone for the company was the opening of its machine warehouse in Shanghai in 2013.
