Vaishali Kamat, head of digital health, Cambridge Consultants

Kamat has over 15 years of experience in new product development, programme management and business development.

At Cambridge Consultants she focuses on developing ecosystem solutions that can help improve health outcomes, streamline clinical care or provide evidence of efficacy.

Her work covers a range of healthcare sectors, from diagnostics and drug delivery to surgical interventions and active implants.


Tom Kinisky, president and CEO, Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics

Kinisky started working at Saint-Gobain in 1989 and has moved between several different roles within the company.

During his time as president the company has focussed on the emergence of cell therapy as a segment of Bio-Processing and how to avoid the complexities this brings. It has also transformed several high-tech polymers (silicones, fluoropolymers and other thermoplastics) into different customised critical fluid management solutions.


Michael Walser, head of research and development, ESCATEC

Walser has has worked in electronics design, development and manufacturing for over 17 years.

As head of R&D at ESCATEC, Walser has overseen processes where 3D printing has accelerated the time frame when taking a product to market and extend the working life of medical devices.

He has also overseen the company grow its ability to create complex, multi-material objects for the medical sector.


George Frodsham, CEO of MediSieve

Frodsham is a physicist that created a blood-filtering device for malaria treatment while he was still in university.

He then turned into an entrepreneur when he decided to take this 3D printed, magnetic device to market through his new company MediSieve.

Frodsham and his company have also recently secured several hundred thousand pounds in funding to take the maleria device from development to clinical trials.


Paul Edwards, managing director of Pentagon Plastics

When Edwards started at Pentagon Plastics in 1994 he set up a Quality Management System and introduced a fully networked computer system before taking over the role of managing director.

The company he now manages offers a range of injection moulding services that include design assistance, development, toolmaking, injection moulding and post moulding operations.
