Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, Dame Janet Trotter, with Renishaw Chairman and Chief Executive, Sir David McMurtry, and the Director and General Manager of the Spectroscopy Products Division, Simon Holden.
Renishaw has been presented with its seventeenth Queen's Award. This award was granted for the continuous development of the company's inVia Raman microscope, with ultra-fast Raman imaging, which enables the rapid generation of high definition 2D and 3D chemical images for material analysis.
The award is the first to recognise Renishaw's achievements outside of the field of industrial metrology.
Speaking to Renishaw employees about their success, Dame Janet Trotter, Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, said: "You all know that you work for an absolutely excellent company.
