Life sciences programme invites women to board positions

Applications have opened for a programme designed to help senior women in life sciences reach board positions.

Developed by Women in Bio – an organisation helping to promote careers and entrepreneurship for women in life sciences -  the Boardroom Ready programme is now accepting applications for 2018.

The programme is now in its third year and offers winners an intensive board competency building curriculum at George Washington University. Candidates will learn to understand the duties, responsibilities and commitments related to serving on public and private boards. Candidates will also work with a professional résumé writer to develop a tailored CV and biography.

Successful candidates will be partnered with an experienced board mentor to help navigate the path to board service. The programme will feature sponsored Women in Bio life science advisors and other sponsors to help match candidates with companies seeking new board members.
