TPE compounds for medical devices being displayed at Medica
Colorite, a Tekni-Plex business, are exhibiting a line of ThermoPlastic Elastomer (TPE) compounds for medical device applications during Medica 2019.
Cellene TPE compounds are suitable for multiple uses within medical devices. These cellene compounds are formulated to be silicone, latex, phthalate, halogen and PolyVinylChloride (PVC)-free by using FDA-compliant raw materials to meet USP class VI and ISO 10993 standards.
As a result of regulatory changes and the ever changing market conditions, medical device manufacturers are forced to look for solutions via other materials.
