As an international mould maker, the Swiss company has designed and implemented projects for many well-known companies in recent years. To fine-tune its services, processes and quality assurance uncompromisingly to the specific characteristics and requirements of this area of application, the company has now launched its MED business division.

“For almost 70 years, packaging producers around the world have valued our moulds for their precision, ease of maintenance and durability, as have PET preform producers for nearly 50 years," says CEO and owner Otto Hofstetter. With its decades of expertise, including numerous projects in the medical sector, he considers this expansion step as only logical.

Otto Hofstetter MED will manufacture injection moulds for primary pharmaceutical packaging, as well as medical and diagnostic products and packaging for food supplements.
