Styrolution is illustrating how its materials can help medical manufacturers and designers at Compamed

Styrolution is displaying how its Styrenic polymers can be incorporated into infusion systems, flexible medical devices, respiratory or cardiovascular devices and medical and healthcare applications at Compamed.

Pieter Bekaert, head of healthcare EMEA, Styrolution, said: “Medical suppliers across the globe are constantly looking for ways to differentiate themselves from the competition through improvements to performance, design and cost reduction.”

The customer applications that Styrolution is displaying at Compamed are intravenous sets, medical drip chambers, medical tubes consisting of multi-lumens, dry powder inhalers, blood pressure monitors and medical hearing aids.

Styrolution is also exhibiting other products at the event including its Zylar/Cleaben and Styrolux for medical applications such as IV sets.
