SPE conference on additives and colours

SPE announces the 9th European Additives & Colors Conference: Shaping Aesthetics & Performance 23-25 February 2015 – Barcelona, Spain

The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is home to nearly 16,000 plastics professionals in more than 84 countries around the world with the objective to promote the scientific and engineering plastics knowledge.

This biannual conference is organized by ACE (Additives & Color Europe, a division of SPE) and is“, says the SPE, 'the-place-to-be' to learn the latest on additives, pigments & dyes and master batches for plastics as well as to get connected to the entire industry value chain, from raw material and equipment suppliers to OEMs such as Volkswagen, Tupperware, Faurecia, Clariant, A.Schulman, BASF, Sabic, Bayer Material Science, DuPont, Milliken, 3M, Evonik, Nubiola, Leistritz, Q-Lab, Akzo Nobel, BYK Chemie, Dow Corning, Eckart, Ferro, Lubrizol, Omya, Sabo, Shepherd Color, Shimadzu, Sibelco, Songwon, Wacker Chemie and many others.

The conference will take place in Barcelona on 23-25 February 2015 and will focus on giving OEMs a better understanding of OEMs' expectations on additives, pigments & dyes and master batches.   

It will also look at additives and colours related to smart plastics, 3D printing materials, nanotechnologies, 'cool' colours and product novelties and innovations.
