Silicone Elastomers course
A Silicone Elastomers course is being offered by Smithers Rapra and is to take place on Thursday 23rd October 2014.
The course which will be delivered by John Manley and Gary Crutchley both principal rubber consultants at Smithers Rapra is structured to provide an understanding overview of the main types of silicone elastomer currently available.
The course will also give a comparison of chemical structures, manufacturers, properties, compounding, processing and applications between each type of silicone elastomer.
Product designers, material suppliers, processors and manufacturers of finished and semi-finished products/components are said to benefit from this course, but anyone with an interest in Silicone Elastomers wishing to gain a better understanding of the material will also benefit greatly.
