SGS to launch online portal with aim of improving accessibility

Notified body SGS is launching an online portal in a bid to make its testing, inspection and certification services more accessible.

SGS Online Services is a platform that will offer a range of services to help companies reduce risk, streamline processes and operate in a more sustainable manner.

It works in a similar way to an online shop and is currently open in the United Kingdom, China and Germany, with expansion into more countries planned in the coming months.

Guillaume Pahud, customer portal program director at SGS, said: “At SGS, customer innovation is at the core of our strategy. We are constantly looking beyond customers’ and society’s expectations to deliver market leading services wherever they are needed. This new portal will help customers respond to an increasingly regulated world in a simple and quick way.”
