Seaborne Plastics Expands Plant in Brno, Czech Republic

UK-based thermoformers Seaborne Plastics are delighted to announce that work will soon begin on a major addition to their European manufacturing centre in Brno in the Czech Republic.

The new building will house a dedicated tooling manufacturing hub and will increase the overall size of the plant to over 6,500 square metres.

In a seperate announcement, Seaborne have announced they have acquired a new Geiss T9 thermoforming machine.

This significant investment adds to the already impressive array of Geiss and Ilig machinery on site at the Brno plant.

Sales director Bill Edwards explains the decision: "It has long been the policy of Seaborne Plastics to invest sensibly in the very best machinery and personnel, this latest purchase was made as a direct result of increased demand for our services from companies across Europe."

Seaborne Plastics will be exhibiting components on their stand throughout Compamed and many of the sales and production teams will be on hand to answer any questions.

European sales manager Ales Vychron is delighted by the Brno expansion: "The huge increase in demand that we have experienced since last year's Compamed has driven us to take this decision. The increased space will allow us to provide an even greater capacity for tooling production, a facility that we know our clients have a requirement for."

Managing director of Seaborne Plastics is also confident that the expansion will add still further to the service the company provides: "We have built our reputation on the application of sound engineering principles and no area typifies this more than in tooling, our clients know that they can trust us and this investment demonstrates our confidence in the industry and more importantly, our clients."
