Robotics player to showcase life science solutions at ATX West

Textile machinery manufacturer Stäubli Robotics will exhibit robotic automation cells for the life sciences, automotive and packing sectors at the ATX West trade show in Anaheim.

The company will display its FAST pickerTP80 4-axis, robot packaging a medical device in a sealed, germ-free, aseptic environment as part of its exhibit.

Sebastian Schmitt, robotics division manager for Stäubli North America said: “Stäubli prides itself on offering solutions that allow manufacturers to rethink what’s possible. Our TX2 robot provides greater flexibility because it can easily adjust to changing manufacturing scenarios without sacrificing productivity.”

Stäubli is also introducing its new software solution, uniVAL for Allen-Bradley, which aims to simplify robotic programming for general industry and makes the interface of human robot collaboration more easily accessible.

ATX West is an automation technology trade show and takes place between 5-7 February in Anaheim, California.
