Philips Respironics, a business of Royal Philips, showcased its sleep-disordered breathing solutions and chromic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) management options at the European Respiratory Society (ERS) International Congress 2015 in Amsterdam

Philips displayed its Dream Family - the DreamStation positive airway pressure (PAP) device, DreamWear mask and DreamMapper and its Amara View - a minimal contact full-face mask.

The COPD management solutions Philips showcased were the SimplyGo Mini - a portable oxygen concentrator (POC) and VitaBreath - a therapy support device for patients who experience dyspnea related to their COPD.

Mark D’Angelo, sleep business leader of Philips, said: “As a leader in sleep apnea treatment innovation, Philips continuously aims to expand its CPAP mask offerings with an emphasis on patient comfort.

“By addressing patient concerns, like limited mobility and mask-related irritation, we can provide patients with more personalised options to help them adapt to and stick with their OSA treatment, and get the sleep they deserve.”
