Product designers and plastics moulding professionals will converge in the West Midlands this June when the Plastics Design and Moulding Exhibition and Conference (PDM 14) returns to the Telford International Centre on the 18th and 19th June 2014. Anyone wishing to register for the free-to-attend exhibition and conference can now do so online at www.pdmevent.com

“PDM 14 is set to build on the vibrant success of last year’s event, bringing together machinery makers, moulders, materials specialists, toolmakers and software suppliers with visitors from across the plastics design and moulding sector to share the latest in new technologies for plastic product design and manufacture.” says Matthew Barber, PDM 14 Sales Manager.

Big names from every part of the UK plastics community have already signed up to exhibit at PDM14. Major machinery manufacturers exhibiting include Arburg, Billion, Boy, BMB Plastics Machinery, Engel UK, Krauss Maffei, Kuka Robotics, Negri Bossi, PMS/Borche, Premier Moulding Machinery and Sumitomo Demag. After the show’s success last year and very high proportion of exhibitors have opted to return to PDM 14, including Agentdraw, K. D. Feddersen, Elasto, Pantone and Rutland Plastics. Their numbers are also being swelled by many first-time exhibitors from across all sectors including companies like Steritouch, TLM Laser, AXYZ Automation, SpaceClaim, LGG Charlesworth, Counterplas and Caledonian Plastics.

PDM14 is the perfect place for plastics and design professionals to network, learn and do business. Industry associations supporting PDM14 include: British Plastics Federation (BPF), the Gauge & Toolmakers Association (GTMA), the IOM3 and Polymer Training and Innovation Centre.

Home to over 100 polymer-related companies, Telford has been known for “plastics valley” for over 20 years and was the venue for PDM’s debut show in 2005. Easily accessible from the M6 and M54 motorways, the Telford International Centre provides free parking for over 1,500 cars and the adjacent Southwater development offers visitors and exhibitors with a choice of bars, restaurants and entertainment.

PDM14 will be co-located at the Telford International Centre with the new PRE, Plastics Recycling Expo, Europe’s first exhibition and conference dedicated to plastics recycling.
