Novozymes appoints new EVP Strategy

Amy Byrick will assume her new position of Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Transformation at Novozymes in April 2021, reporting to President and CEO Ester Baiget.

Byrick joins Novozymes from DuPont Nutrition and Biosciences, where she led the Global Food and Beverage business. Prior to her time at DuPont, Byrick spent more than a decade at Amcor holding various strategic, marketing and general management positions. She holds both Canadian and French nationalities and resides in Denmark. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Thomas Videbæk, interim EVP of Strategy and Business Transformation, will transition this role to Byrick. The aim is for the transition to take place during the second quarter of 2021. Thomas will continue in his role as interim EVP of People, Sustainability and Brand until his successor is appointed and established in the role.
