New name for Francesco Franceschetti Elastomeri

Ten years from the managing buy-out that created Francesco Franceschetti Elastomeri, the company continues its evolution by rebranding as Marfran. A decades-long history that began in 1987 continues on a path towards a future with new stimuli and impulses to enrich the company’s offerings and services.

A recent press statement read: ‘We wanted to celebrate this milestone with all customers and partners, sharing values, commitment and new perspectives with an event to present all the news. Then we all had to face "a new challenge".

‘The passion we put into our work, our willingness to accept changes, looking for new solutions and our faith in the future have made us resist. We have chosen not to give up on our project: a global rebranding, new name, new logo, new font, new color.’

A new logo highlighting two key features of the company’s identity: What’s done and how it’s done, passionately.

The new Marfran blue, created and chosen to summarise the new identity of innovatation, transpired from a fusion of all the colours that have adorned the company logo over the years.

A new identity deeply rooted in the past

‘Being Marfran means creating value,’ the press statement continued, ‘without ever losing sight of sinergy [sic] with partners, in a context of ongoing innovation and an approach that focuses on the experience offered to everyone engaging with the brand.’

Marfran’s products include a complete range of TPE and TPO, characterised by high-performance in a wide range of applications and areas, from automotive to sports, from household appliances to personal care, and from construction to medical applications.

MARFRAN.MED compounds, for example, are intended for use in medical and pharmaceutical fields, for which the company has developed products for biocompatible devices, as well as materials suitable for personal protective equipment.

Among the recent developments, the MASTER.MSTR compounds, foaming agent masterbatches with concentrations up to 65 per cent, in order to propose different levels and modes of expansion, were developed due to the innovative production process that enable a homogeneous dispersion of the active ingredient inside the support, making them compatible with common plastics such as TPE-S, PO, PVC, EVA, EPDM, and PU.

As Marfran, with a pragmatic and concrete approach accompanied by a creative flexibility, the company aims to continue to create value and innovation.

Today Francesco Franceschetti Elastomeri has become Marfran, a new brand to convey an ever-existing passion.
