Natvar unveils microextrusion silicone medical tubing at Medica

Supplier of medical tubing solutions Natvar will be exhibiting at Medica on 13-16 November. The company will be displaying its latest medical tubing applications at the show which is taking place at the Messe, Dusseldorf.

Natvar’s new microextrusion medical tubing can be made from cost-effective thermoplastics and other highly-engineered materials. The tubing can consistently hold tight tolerances and is an ideal alternative to other materials such as glass and fluoropolymers, Natvar state.

Natvar will also be announcing the global availability of its high-precision medical silicone extrusion tubing typically used for catheters, feeding tubes, drug delivery and peristaltic pump applications. The company’s latest investment in expanded silicone extrusion capacity helps it provide a solution for complex medical applications and supports the growing need for biological compatibility for implantable medical devices.
