MTD Micro Molding receives MedAccred Certification

Leader in micro-injection moulding, MTD Micro Molding, has achieved MedAccred Certification, marking it as the first micro moulding company to receive the accreditation. 

MedAccred, administered by Performance Review Institute (PRI), is an industry managed, consensus-driven approach to ensuring critical manufacturing process quality throughout the medical device supply chain. MedAccred establishes stringent industry consensus audit criteria based on industry standards and specific OEM requirements that ensure quality and compliance of medical devices.

Following the receipt of the certificate, Dennis Tully, president of MTD Micro Molding commented, “I am extremely proud of this achievement. MTD was the first micro moulding company to complete the pilot audit for the Plastics checklist, with over moulding and injection moulding jobs being closely examined along with the quality system. MTD also was represented on the Plastics audit checklist task group with MedAccred, working alongside various MedAccred subscribers (major medical device companies) including: Stryker, Philips, BD, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, and Boston Scientific Corporation.
