MGS Medical Plastics Debuts at Mediplas 2013 Following Cleanroom Manufacturing Investment

Newly-formed MGS Medical Plastics is to exhibit at the Mediplas show in Birmingham, UK, this September on stand H32.

Mediplas is a specialist event centred around the manufacture of plastic products for the medical industry, an area which MGS Medical Plastics specialises in.

MGS will exhibit its broad range of items, including hyperdermic needle handling and control, blood test systems and sterilisation equipment.

The company evolved from MG Stuma, a Blackburn-based business with a £6.5 mn turnover and 40 years in business. As part of a £2 mn growth plan, it has begun operating as its own entity to more keenly focus on its specialism.

The investment includes the addition of a 2,500 sq ft clean room, which cost £150,000 to design and build.

Director John Sturgess said: "Exhibitions are a great tool for us as they allow us to meet existing customers, introduce ourselves to potential new customers and to show off our great products."
