MedTech Innovator calls on emerging companies
Emerging companies are being urged to apply to the MedTech Innovator, the medtech industry’s nonprofit global competition and accelerator.
Companies applying for the competition are in for the chance to win $500,000.
Early to mid-stage medical device, diagnostic, and digital health companies are eligible to apply, providing they can address one of the following areas:
- Chronic Disease Management
- Cognitive Devices and Platforms
- Consumer Healthcare
- Healthcare Efficiency and Cost Reduction
- Infectious Disease Management
- Patient Safety and Satisfaction
- Precision and Personalized Medicine
- Population Health
- Next-Gem Surgical
- Technology-Enabled Services
Applications will be reviewed by more than 50 leading companies, including manufacturers, providers and investors. The top 100 companies will move on to compete in 10 regional pitch events in the United States and Europe throughout March and April.
Winners of the pitch events will progress to the opportunity to be selected for the showcase, accelerator and three competitions. The first will be held at the MedTech Strategist Innovation Summit in Dublin, Ireland, the second at the Wilson Sonsini Medical Device Conference in San Francisco and the finals at the AdvaMed 2017 in San Jose, California.
