Medtec China set to grow by 10%

Medtec China is set to grow by 10% when it starts in September, marking a new height since 2015 for the show.

The exhibition - which is taking place from 25-26 September - covers the entire chain of medical device and manufacturing with 14 zones dedicated to the sector.

The show is well suited to China’s growing medical devices market, which is forecast to surpass 600 billion yuan by 2019.

Medtec China will gather 400 global suppliers specialising in medical device design, research and development and manufacture, raw materials, components, processing technologies and manufacturing services, in order to provide high-quality resources to serve the growing needs of the domestic medical equipment industry.

Almost 100% of the show’s booth space has now been sold out, with companies such as 3M, Eastman Chemical, Henkel Loctite and Clariant Chemical being among the internationally renowned organisations.

Medtec China has co-located the conference with the MDiT forum and Regulation Summit, which will discuss themes of Chinese regulatory updates and compliance, US and EU regulatory updates and market access, outsourcing and supplier management, CFDA overseas inspection and FDA inspection, next-gen design and new technology, packaging and sterilisation hub issues, plastic innovation, and dressing materials and technology.

Other themes of the show include a market report track of medical device industry, a regulatory lecture, an Israel tech demo, the microfluidic technology forum, as well as a purchasing conference from device manufacturers.
