Medline opens new manufacturing for Sterile Procedure Trays

Medline has announced the opening of its new sterile procedure trays (SPT) plant in western Slovakia

The SPT division is Medline’s single largest product division providing more than £575m annual revenue.

The facility in Bánovce nad Bebravou, Slovakia will produce SPT.

Vish Bhave, senior vice president of European product divisions, Medline, said: “The Slovakian plant is critical to help us continue to grow our sterile procedure tray business and enables us to serve hospitals across Europe in the most cost-efficient manner.”

In the first stage of the expansion in Bánovce nad Bebravou, Medline will employ a total of 60 people and invest EUR 1.6 Million.
