SI Group debuts regional office at Mohawk Harbor in New York

SI Group, a global performance additives company, opened its new regional office in Schenectady, N.Y.

The new office is on the first floor of Building Six at Mohawk Harbor. SI Group signed a multi-year lease with The Galesi Group, furthering its presence in Schenectady.  

SI Group’s new office features technology and has been designed to promote a collaborative work environment, offering 19,000 square feet of space for employees to connect in person and virtually.

Since SI Group’s inception in 1906, the company has had a presence in Schenectady. Following the sale of its former headquarters building in Niskayuna in 2022, SI Group has retained many corporate employees in the Capital Region in addition to its manufacturing site in Rotterdam Junction.

Schenectady’s Metroplex Development Authority supported SI Group with the move to Mohawk Harbor. “We thank SI Group for their strong commitment to Schenectady County with this new waterfront regional office at Mohawk Harbor and major manufacturing facility in Rotterdam Junction,” said Ray Gillen, chair, Schenectady County Metroplex Development Authority.
