RenyMed expands into medical component decorating capabilities

RenyMed, a vertically integrated molding and tooling supplier to the medical device industry, has added a dedicated Secondary Operations Center for medical component decorating, plus additional equipment and key employees at its ISO 13485 certified operation in Baldwin Park, California.  

Secondary operations

The Secondary Operations Center for component decorating is 500 sq. ft and expands the company's value-added services. Capabilities include laser marking (including acetal materials), pad printing, sub-assembly, and other postmolding operations.  

Micromolding

RenyMed expands capabilities with precision micromolding with the addition of a new 30 ton Sumitomo micro-injection molding machine. Adds Raiken “we have had precision micromachining for 10 years and now have the capability for molding with 10-micron tolerance.”

Growing

RenyMed has also added three key employees to the team including a new general manager, Stephane Gobron; molding manager, Oscar Aguyao; and senior engineer, Sneh Dhruv. To accommodate its growing team, the company has created 750 sq. ft of new office space.
