Lucideon creates new role to lead programmes

Lucideon has created a new Director of Programmes role to strengthen its position. 

Dr Gilda Gasparini will be directing Lucideon’s expanding catalogue of work with national and international clients, Government agencies, universities, and specialist research groups.  

A development and commercialisation organisation (DCO) specialising in materials technology, processes, and testing, Lucideon’s expertise is being increasingly called upon around the world to help navigate key challenges, including Net Zero, green energy, and healthcare innovations.  

The company has also increased its ability to put materials innovation on the fast-track for clients through its access to the new AMRICC Centre, a facility developed to channel new routes to commercialisation in the advanced ceramics sector that it hosts and manages on behalf of its members, with Dr. Gasparini’s remit including overseeing projects undertaken in the facility.

Dr Gasparini, a chartered chemical engineer specialising in product development, technology commercialisation and multi-skill collaborations, has worked at Lucideon for almost eight years and has been promoted to the new position from a programme management role.
