Hi-Technology Group moves Slovakian production site

UK headquartered Hi-Technology Group, technical plastics injection moulder, has moved its Slovakian production site to new purpose built industrial premises near the second largest airport in Slovakia in Košice, Barca district.

Hi-Technology Group manufactures plastic mouldings using injection technology in addition to full assembly and logistics activities. Currently, it is developing its production activity and capacity focused on design, tooling, production and assembly of plastic components, which it supplies to its customers globally.

The new premises in Slovakia meet all the company's requirements and were ready on a turnkey basis. Increased capacity, sustainability, efficient energy management and an incomparably lower carbon footprint, were motivations for change.

"After fifteen years of work and fulfilling demanding customer requirements in Slovakia, the company's Leadership identified the need to expand the company's production capacities. The company can now continue to fulfil its tasks in modern premises with sufficient capacity for further development. We are also pleased by the fact that the new facility was formally opened by the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, His Excellency Nigel Baker OBE MVO," said Ing. Peter Rozum, general manager of the Hi-Technology Group in Slovakia.

The facility in CTPark Košice has an area of 4056 m², meaning the Hi-Technology Group has a combined total of 8000m2 of production facilities, including 60 mould machines and assembly areas to support its customers. The production unit itself had to be developed in order to ensure the seamless integration of overhead cranes, distribution of cooling technological water, compressed air and processed plastic granulate. At the same time, the premises were also used for service activities and purposefully designed warehouse management. The working environment also provides modern social facilities for employees.
