Guardtech strives for further expansion in 2023

The Guardtech Group, cleanroom construction specialists, is aiming to take their ‘full package’ cleanroom offering to more new clients than ever before in 2023.

The Group and its five sub-divisions witnessed the busiest year in the company’s history last year.

Cleanroom Solutions, the turnkey construction arm of the Group led on site by projects director Sean Gaylard, has a string of major builds lined up for the first half of 2023, including a 510sqm ISO8 Life Sciences construction and a cleanroom HVAC upgrade for a previous client in Devon.

Guardtech Cleanrooms, under the collective leadership of project managers Elliott Pearce, Arran Williams and Craig Druce, will be delivering on projects in Ireland (60sqm ISO6 Semiconductor), Gloucestershire (12sqm ISO7 Softwall Isopod) and Devon (110sqm ISO5 R&D facility), as well as continuing work on a 140sqm electro-optical engineering cleanroom in Kent.

The Group’s Services team will also be kept busy with scheduled validations for projects in Staffordshire (Medical Device), Essex (plastic card manufacturers), Somerset (medical technical fabrics), Oxfordshire (Cell & Gene Therapy) and Cambridgeshire (Micro-electronics).

This is alongside CleanCube (portable) and Isopod (rapid) cleanroom products for clients overseas – with a CleanCube Maxi due to be shipped to Sweden and two quick-assembly Softwall Isopods earmarked for neighbouring Denmark.

Guardtech predicts the international market to go from strength to strength for CleanCube and Isopod, with both businesses forecasting their most profitable years yet as the Group further expands its distribution network.

“We’re in a really good place at the start of 2023,” said Mark Wheeler, the Guardtech Group’s commercial director. “We have a really strong series of projects lined up for Cleanroom Solutions, which is testament to how we’ve built upon that legacy brand as a go-to name for turnkey cleanroom construction.

“The beginning of last year was all about introducing the new Group set-up – now, a year on, we want to not only consolidate all the amazing work we’ve done but move forward yet again, continue to grow the Group as a whole, bring in even more brilliant new staff and increase our reach globally.

“We’re building some really strong reputations for each individual business and that’s helping the overall Guardtech Group package become stronger than ever.”

The Group is also set to unveil a number of useful marketing tools to assist customers in their cleanroom journey, including a brand-new comprehensive brochure for Cleanroom Solutions and new websites for CleanCube, Cleanroom Solutions and Guardtech Cleanrooms.

The CleanCube website is scheduled for launch next month and a new dedicated CleanCube manufacturing facility has been secured in Suffolk which allows Guardtech to quadruple CleanCube’s production capacity.

Guardtech Group will be exhibiting its offering at Med-Tech Innovation Expo on 7-8 June 2023 at the NEC, Birmingham. For more information, visit www.med-techexpo.com.
