Medical compounding company opens doors in Leominster, Massachusetts

Peak Performance Compounding (Peak) began production in September 2019, and the company was launched by Todd Marchand, Robert Tocci Jr., Michael Carota and Jonas Angus, who have over 100 years of industry experience between them.

Peak aims to offer a service-oriented option for companies looking to fill their compounding requirements by delivering pre-coloured, high quality, unique engineered products to the medical market.

President, Todd Marchand commented: “Peak Performance Compounding believes in treating customers with integrity and best in class service; prioritised with reasonable lead time and uncompromised quality. Fast turnaround of samples and no minimum order size is our mantra.”

Services include custom formulating, capabilities for custom colouring, toll processing with customer specified ingredients and radiopaque applications. Additionally, Peak offers twin screw technology that allows for the processing of a wide range of thermoplastic materials, highly filled products, and precision compounds. Peak also offers pellet or dry powder blending, pellet pulverising and material testing.

The company is currently working towards making their production area in Leominster humidity and temperature-controlled and has started the process of ISO 13485/9001:2015 certification, which is anticipated to be resolved by Q1 of 2020.
