Federal Minister of Health kicks off Medica

Thomas Dietrich from IVAM Microtechnology Network presented the opening speech for Compamed yesterday while the federal minister of health, Hermann Gröhe, opened Medica

The federal minister of education and research Johannah Wanka then presented at Medica later in the day focussing on the new development concept of the federal government for medical informatics.

Companies exhibiting at Medica come from a multitude of medical sectors including electromedicine, laboratory technology, medical furniture, technology for hospitals and more.

In parallel to this, technology solutions and services that suppliers offer for the medical technology industry are the main focus at the Compamed.

The range of business activities in Compamed encompass the materials sector, production issues, aspects of quality control, complete contract manufacturing and after-sales services for medical technology devices.

Medica and Compamed are taking place this week, 16-19 November, at Messe Dusseldorf in Dusseldorf
